After acting and directing in his own theatre company in the early 1990's and running his own multi-media company in the mid 1990's, Marc served an apprenticeship in film and worked professionally in all the areas of production until settling for a time as an assistant director. Marc is now a Director within Scotland's film and TV industry, his last television series as director for Channel 4 earned him a BAFTA Award nomination as Best Director New Fiction. Marc has professionally produced, written and directed - including producing and directing 'A Small Piece of Paradise', 'Anatomy of a City' for Glasgow 1999, co-writing the cyber punk action feature 'Blacklight' for Boxcar Productions, directing experimental shorts such as 'The Haunting' and directing several network commercials, multi-media, corporate and pop promos.

Marc's short film as writer and director, "The Promise", was shortlisted for the prestigious Tartan Short film scheme at Scottish Screen and BBC and is currently scheduled for production in late 2002 with Billy Boyd (Lord Of The Rings) in the lead. As well as various television projects under development or in production, Marc has a slate of features in development as director in the UK and North America through Mandragora Productions and McDongall Films. Among these are: "Lollipop", writer Marc Pye, producer Robbie Sandison; "Touring Company", writer/director Marc de Launay, producer Robbie Sandison and "Time of Your Life" written by Eddie Harrison, producers Carol McGregor and Janice Cutting.
